Hey Folks!

SDCC 2012, what an experience! A gigantic building filled with toys, comics, movies, talent and people....lots of people. I had the pleasure of meeting some fantastic artists, writers, editors and fans. Not to be outdone, I also had the rare opportunity to meet the other creators of the Ghostbusters Ongoing comic I pencil. The comic itself is an international creation...with Erik from Minnesota, Luis hailing from Mexico City, Tristan traveling from Melbourne and myself, located in Victoria BC. All top notch guys and professionals to the T. If you haven't read the comic, or seen their work I encourage you to check them out. Thanks to Tom Waltz, Dirk Wood and the rest of the awesome bunch at IDW. I'd also like to say thanks to Dave Hedgecock and the courteous people over at Ape Entertainment for having me at their booth to sign the Kung Fu Panda comic I illustrated. So, being a man of few words when it comes to recounting trips, I'll let the pictures do the rest of the talking.

Cheers!

Dan

Fan Expo Vancouver recap!

Just wanted to make a quick post to follow up the 1st ever Fan Expo in Vancouver. I had a great time meeting people and seeing old colleagues. A big thanks to all that stopped by to say hi, share their thoughts on the Ghostbusters comic and pick up a comic and or print. It's all greatly appreciated, and it's nice to know that people enjoy the comic as much as the team enjoys creating it. I don't do a lot of conventions, but I'd definitely like to go back to Vancouver's again next year. I didn't get to look around much, but I was sitting next to an amazingly talented artist by the name of Caanan Grall. I highly recommend you check out his site and his comic "Max Overacts." It's great writing, great art and a lot of heart. Here's some photos from the show...and for the first time ever, I get to try on an unlicensed nuclear accelerator! Enjoy!

Paula and I, ready to bust some ghouls!

Possibly the best costumes I've seen at a con. That guy in the middle is about to get Bebop'd and Rocksteady'd!

Hey everyone!

I'll be at the first ever Fan Expo Vancouver this weekend signing comics and perhaps doing a doodle or two. Swing by and say hi! I'll be at table P20 :)

Cheers!

Hey everyone! It has been a remarkably time busy since starting the Ghostbusters Ongoing comic. The entire team is really putting 110% into the books, and we hope you are diggin what we are layin down. I rarely ever post pencils, and thought this would be a perfect opportunity to do so. Don't forget, issue #5 is out on the 18th of January! It's a new story arc that is chock full of clowns, bats and evil monkeys. How can you go wrong with that combo? Cheers!
